The garage33 Incubator workshops start with the existing customer problem of your idea and bring you a big step closer to your goal of founding a start-up. We prepare you and your idea to achieve problem-solution fit and seamlessly apply for grants such as the Gründerstipendium.NRW or EXIST start-up grant. You can also benefit from regular individual coaching and exchange with the participating teams.

The garage33 Incubator is the right place for you if you have identified an existing problem with a target group, either on your own or as part of a team, and validated it through discussions with customers. An initial idea for a solution is also required.
The garage33 Incubator is aimed at start-ups in the incubation phase. At garage33, we support you with start-up programs structured in three phases:
Ideation:
Here you identify and validate a relevant problem and find out which target group you are addressing. You also develop an initial idea to solve this problem. (Problem-customer fit).
Incubation:
In this phase, you develop and test prototypes to ensure that your solution effectively solves the identified problem of the target group. You focus on acquiring your first customers and preparing for the start-up and initial funding (problem-solution fit).
Acceleration:
In this phase, we help you to become investment-ready. The focus is on growth and scaling - you aim to expand your start-up, gain a larger number of customers, secure follow-up financing and optimize processes in order to achieve sustainable market success (product-market fit).
The garage33 Incubator is a seamless continuation of our formats in the ideation phase: Find your Idea, Science to Start-up, Prototype your PhD or Call for Ideas.
Also following our teaching modules such as SIGMA: Ideas for Starting a Business, Practical Seminar: Innovation in SMEs (I & II), Impact Entrepreneurship: Solving Global Challenges Entrepreneurially, Start-up Simulation & Ideation (& Coaching), Corporate Entrepreneurship (I & II) or Social Entrepreneurship, the garage33 Incubator is the right step.
No. It is important that at least one person from your team is present at each meeting. This leaves enough time for operational business. The workshops take place on site at garage33.
