Next year, we will once again be looking for innovative business ideas from all over OWL to award them prize money of up to €1,500 in the final!

How does it work?

Write your idea on a maximum of 2 A4 pages. On these two pages, you should present the idea, the benefits, the market and the feasibility. You can also add a page for graphics and images if required. Upload your entire idea sketch via the application form at the bottom of the page. Are you missing the right business idea? Sign up for our Find your Idea Workshop! Don't think your idea is good enough? Or: You think your idea is too good to reveal to the world? Let our coaches give you feedback on your idea before you submit it. Feedback discussions and drafts of idea sketches have no effect on the evaluation of competition submissions. You can find the conditions of participation here.

What belongs in an idea sketch?

IDEA

What is the core of your idea? What problem does it solve? How would you describe the benefits (e.g. saving money, time, environmental friendliness)? What is its unique selling point?

BUSINESS
MODEL

How do you earn money with your idea?

TARGET GROUP

Who benefits from your idea and who would pay money for it?

MARKET

What does the market look like? What is your assessment of growth opportunities, potential and limitations in the market? Who are your competitors?

FEASIBILITY

How do you assess the opportunities and risks of implementing your idea? How do you rate the feasibility of your idea? How is the team set up? What superpowers do you have for implementing the idea? What are the next steps?

BONUS

The topic of social entrepreneurship is close to our hearts. Does your idea solve a social problem in the areas of environment, social affairs, education, poverty reduction, human rights? This will be included in the evaluation of the ideas.
