We support university members on their path to founding a company and offer space for start-ups and innovations from research, studies and teaching.
Since 2008, Paderborn University has presented the award for successful spin-offs to selected entrepreneurs, thus strengthening the connection to the university even years after graduation.

Business founders often feel closely connected to their place of origin even years later. To support this bond, since 2008 it has been possible to use a quality label awarded by Paderborn University. This makes it the first university in Germany to recognize "its" spin-offs in this way. By using the label, the emergence from the university is made clear and the external image is supported.
