EXIST Transfer of Research supports outstanding, complex and risky start-up projects that are research-based. The funding is divided into two phases. You can find out more on the linked page or from our coaching team.
Classic financing
Self-financing
Self-financing means that the necessary capital comes from contributions by the founders or from profits from the sales process.
Self-financing does not require external funding. This approach makes an impression on large investors, especially in later phases. Efficient use of resources is important here.
Venture Capital
Venture capital is private equity capital for founders and start-ups. Venture capital companies (VCs), which usually invest via funds, bear a high risk of loss in return for disproportionately high potential returns.
These include, for example, Technologiefonds OWL, NRW.BANK and High-Tech Gründerfonds.
Private investors
Our Business Angels Network OWL (BAN.OWL) consists of business experts from the East Westphalia-Lippe region who would like to support young start-ups with expertise and financial resources. The aim of BAN.OWL is to achieve a perfect match between investors and start-ups in order to strengthen the regional start-up ecosystem and the economy.
