A modular reusable house from conwerk consists of almost 100% reusable, recyclable building materials and ecological materials that are assembled into the overall system using detachable mechanical connections. This means that a conwerk house can be dismantled after the usage cycle and reprocessed into new houses.
With the ecological interior fittings, the circular and highly efficient thermal insulation composite, a completely regenerative and self-sufficient power supply and a state-of-the-art technology package, a conwerk house is a climate-neutral and recyclable home and eligible for subsidies from 2030 in accordance with these building requirements.
A conwerk house is not only a sustainable and circular, but also a flexible home that can be exchanged, transported and combined (into residential complexes) thanks to the modular building block principle.
The founding team of conwerk consists of the two managing partners Ramona Schrör and Harald Bärhold. As project managers and contractors and assembly managers from the trade fair and store fitting sector, the two have spent many years planning, building and dismantling modular trade fair stands. With assembly teams of up to 38 people (fitters, VA technicians, electricians and carpenters), they have realized projects with exhibition and local areas of up to 3,000 m² throughout Europe. As specialists for modular building constructions and thanks to their professional and entrepreneurial skills, they complement each other perfectly for the successful implementation of conwerk.
In cooperation with TH OWL, conwerk was put forward for funding by GrüneGründungen.IN.NRW for a prototype house construction project.
