Coolnis offers comfortable cooling for dogs in summer with its innovative micro-air conditioning technology. Their premium cooling mat combines textile and orthopaedic foam with a safe, electrical technology that uses normal tap water. The mat lowers the temperature by up to 10 degrees below the ambient temperature. Given the difficulties dogs have in regulating their body temperature in summer, Coolnis offers an effective solution to this problem. A patent has been filed for the air conditioning technology and further applications, such as in workwear and protective clothing, are possible.
The founding team of Coolnis consists of Karam Farkhat and Paul Liebersbach. Karam studied industrial engineering and is in charge of technical development. Paul studied economics and takes care of all business matters. What makes them special is their unique combination of technical and business expertise as well as Paul's personal experience with his girlfriend's dogs. This inspired them to develop their first innovative solution: a cooling dog mat for hot summer days.
