Founding year
Founding
Creating glass cracked images requires a lot of practice and a considerable amount of material. The process is extremely loud and produces glass dust. Only a few artists worldwide even offer this art form, and at very high prices.
To overcome these challenges, Grundke&Jäger Glassart is developing an innovative process for breaking glass. This innovation makes the art form scalable, and the high-quality works can be offered at affordable prices. Each work remains unique, because glass never breaks in the same way.
The founding team consists of Jesse and Jan, who combine their experience in sales and technology. Jesse, with a master's degree in mechanical engineering, gained experience as a sales engineer and then worked as a business development manager. Jan, with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, started his career as a software developer for mobile applications and later also worked in the backend area.
Since the beginning of 2024, Grundke&Jäger Glassart has been exhibiting its products to photographers to market individual motifs. The team also opened its first exhibition at the Markt 5 Café in Paderborn in April 2024.
