Criminal offenses are currently at an all-time high and are increasing insecurity, especially among young women. Maaysafe's incremental innovation is changing this. Combining safety and aesthetics, Maaysafe offers safety jewelry with a flexible GPS module combined with an emergency call button. Thanks to Maaysafe, they can now share their location in real time via the satellite network and press the emergency call button on the GPS module in an emergency. The jewelry therefore offers considerable added value and can save lives in an emergency. Thanks to a unique click system, the GPS module fits exclusively on Maaysafe jewelry. The aesthetic and variable design, network independence, modularity and the combination of security and aesthetics set Maaysafe apart.
The MAAYSAFE team, consisting of Master's students about to graduate from Paderborn University, combines 12 years of professional experience and 2 years of experience abroad. Majd and Aulona, who are studying industrial engineering and mechanical engineering, support technical product development and quality assurance. Anne and Yade, who are studying Business Administration and International Economics and Management, contribute their business know-how. Various internships and working student activities round off the team's diverse skills profile. MAAYSAFE also already has a broad network of partners.
Team Maaysafe is in the final of the Call for Ideas 2024.
