QuSinus develops high-precision signal generators for use in laboratories at universities and non-university research institutes (e.g. in the field of quantum computing) and in industry (e.g. for the development of the next generation of telecommunications equipment). Precise signals play an important role in various applications, from measurement systems to radar and telecommunications. In telecommunications in particular, ever larger amounts of data have to be transmitted in ever shorter times. If the data transmission signals are not highly precise, communication errors will occur time and again. QuSinus signal generators are based on a new technology that achieves unprecedented precision, particularly in terms of phase noise, and thus enables progress in various applications.
Dr. Peter Hertenstein studied business administration at the University of Durham and completed his doctorate at the University of Cambridge. He has been a management consultant in the business world (Ernst & Young and Roland Berger) since 2016 and started his own start-up in 2019. Saeed Fard studied Telecommunications at the University of Kashani and completed his Master's degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Paderborn in 2019. He has been working on our product development at HNI since 2019.
QuSinus won 1st place in the Wolfson Entrepreneurship Competition at the University of Cambridge, and was named Startup of the Week by startupdetector.
