UFUNDI lends artworks by artists from the Global South to companies in order to strengthen cultural diversity. As part of a loan model, companies are given access to curated exhibitions that address topics such as cultural diversity and equal opportunities. In addition to aesthetic enrichment, the exhibitions offer interactive access to important social debates. UFUNDI takes care of the entire process, while the artists benefit from a stable source of income and their works gain international visibility.
The UFUNDI team consists of the three founders Lindsey Jackson, Felix Budde and Thorben Scholz. They all have a master's degree in international business from the University of Paderborn and also work as research assistants. With a shared vision and passion, they are committed to providing a platform for artists from the Global South and creating sustainable social impact in the long term.
UFUNDI raised 11,500 euros from 170 people in a crowdfunding campaign in 2023. They were also named one of the top 9 creative companies by creative.nrw in 2024.
