Documents have been used for centuries to convey information. Since 1993, the PDF format has also enabled digital use. However, integrating moving content such as videos often remains cumbersome: users have to manually select areas in the PDF and the file becomes much larger due to the dynamic content, which makes it more difficult to send by email and handle.
Viewnamic solves these problems with innovative software. Image recognition in the PDF helps users to insert moving content, while the original PDF file remains unchanged thanks to the cloud approach and can be sent as usual. When the document is opened with the Viewnamic PDF viewer, the associated content is automatically loaded and embedded in the right place. This makes it easy to create impressive, dynamic documents that are memorable.
The founding team is working on the shared vision of being able to easily add moving and interactive content to documents in the future. Marie (B.Sc. Business Informatics), Daniel (M.Sc. Industrial Engineering) and Felix (M.Sc. Physics) bring with them a wide range of business and technical expertise from their respective studies. Daniel and Felix were already able to gain practical start-up experience in e-commerce during their studies with their own company.
The team was able to impress with its idea at the garage33 start-up boot camp and take first place, as well as at the jury meeting for the start-up grant. The publicly accessible MVP regularly receives new registrations from users worldwide.
